Find a comfortable place to sit or lie down or have and choose some relaxing melodic music with a rhythm close to the tempo of a resting heart beat 70 -80 beats per minute. Visualise the unfolding mystery of the music as it washes over you calming your breath and taking with it any tension and stress as it plays.
Concentrate on your breathing and be aware of it deepening and becoming slower and regular whilst gradually synchronising with the slow deep rhythm of the music. Try to listen without consciously analysing, follow the melodies and listen to the silences and imagine your self carried away on an ocean swell of beautiful music.
